Genealogy and Local History

The Arkansas Room located in the Searcy Public Library has a collection which focuses on all aspects of Arkansas, White County and the communities within White County. Included are histories, local authors, maps, genealogical indexes, cemetery records, memorabilia and ongoing works of local historians. Genealogical information may be requested by mail or email. Genealogical records may be borrowed from other libraries through interlibrary loan.
